Upon your arrival in Luang Prabang, local tour guide greets you at the airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Your time to relax after long-haul flight.

We spend the whole day today visiting the highlights of Luang Prabang including the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang, the city’s oldest temple - the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. 

We will pay a late afternoon visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures. After a cup of coffee of your wish, climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. 

Descending the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

We start the day by visiting the morning Phousi Market, where diverse offerings such as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpetre among the chick­ens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings are on sales. After your flight to Siem Reap, explore the market on your own or enjoy a nice drink at famous Pub Street.

It’s promisingly a very special and acting day as we are going to explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. Angkor Wat, famous for its beauty and splendor, features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, running along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

The ancient capital of Angkor Thom dating back in 12th century, The West Gate, the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant and Leper King Terraces and Ta Prohm that has been relatively untouched since discovered and retained much of its mystery.

In the evening, enjoy dinner with Khmer style cuisine and traditional Apsara dance show.

In the morning we drive northwest to Banteay Srei – built largely of red sandstone with elaborate decorative wall carvings since 10th century, to Kbal Spean – the River of Thousand Lingams then back to Banteay Samre, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan, all lesser visited temples off the beaten track but nonetheless impressive like their famous Angkorian brothers.

Overnight in Siem Reap

We depart to Tonle Sap Lake, the Great Lake of Cambodia and embark a traditional wooden boat cruising through the flooded forests and floating villages completed with schools, restaurants and hospitals.

After embarkation, we have time for rolling at local markets or shopping until flight time to Da Nang followed by a short transfer to Hoi An.

We spend the whole day today exploring Hoi An, known as Faifo to early Western trader. We wander through the cobbled streets, pass low tile-roofed ancient houses to visit the typical historical and architectural sites of the ancient town, including Tran Family Chapel, Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall, Sa Huynh Museum and Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda.

Lunch is served with Cao Lau – Hoi An styled noodles, white rose dumplings and seasonal specialties.

In the afternoon, we embark a boat cruising on the Thu Bon River to visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village and Kim Bong Carpentry Village.

We drive out to My Son, the former religious center of the Champa Kingdom, a sophisticated civilization which held sway over the region from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Today, all that are left are the five archaeological sites from different periods, in a beautifully green setting of hills and winding streams.

In the afternoon, it’s leisure time for discovering Hoi An of your own or relaxing at nearby beaches.

This morning we drive along scenic mountainous roads with spectacular views over the coastline, crossing the dramatic Hai Van Pass and Lang Co, a lovely stretch of beach curving outwards a clear blue lagoon and the East Sea before arriving in Hue, the last imperial city of Vietnam until 1945. The sightseeing covers the most iconic sites of Imperial Citadel, Khai Dinh Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb and a boat trip on Huong River to Thien Mu Pagoda.

We take morning flight to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, a blend of long established traditions and modern imprints of Western colonization. We visit to Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. We continue the walk to the Old Quarter with its fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses known as The 36 Streets.

We journey south to Ninh Binh, stop at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam to visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-980) and the Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009) before reaching to Trang An, an eco-tourism complex surrounded by magnificent forested mountains. Rowing through the grottos in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with bird singings and the only sound of oars stirring the clear water, taking a chance being kings and queens in ancient times, to use the mountains as walls, the rivers as roads and the caves as palaces, is truly an experience of heaven on earth.

We depart Ninh Binh early for Ha Long Bay and embark the cruise ship for two days one night cruising in the bay.

The itinerary and onboard activities may be varied by cruise liners, though your mystical experience among those hundreds of green limestone islets, caves, beaches, floating villages, fresh seafood and local life is one of the rewarding memories of the trip through Vietnam.

Disembarkation after the magnificent-bay-view brunch, we head back to Hanoi just in time for the famous Water Puppet Show, a fantastic art form originating in the northern of Vietnam, best seen in Hanoi.
